Kukliki organises workshops on Russian Traditional Dolls in 2014.
Kukliki organises workshops on Russian Traditional Dolls in 2014.
Each workshop will be dedicated to a specific doll. You will learn how to make it and how make the best of it, will discover the accompanying traditions and rites.
Making a Russian doll is more than simple handcrafting, it is a possibility to look into yourself, your feminine depth and values.
The classes will take place in evening (18.30 - 21.30), to change your mind after work, house, kids and studies.
Where: CABE (Centre d'art et de bien-être) - 36 av. de Couronnement, 1200 Bruxelles (metro Gribaumont, fairly close to Mongomery and European institutions)

Kukliki organise les ateliers sur les Poupées Russes Traditionnelles en 2014.
Chaque atelier sera dédié à une poupée. Vous apprendrez sa technique de creation, ses rites et ses traditions.
Faire une poupée Russe est bien plus q'un bricolage. C'est une possibilité de regarder vers votre intérieur et de découvrir la profondeur et les valeurs de votre féminité.
Les ateliers seront organisés le soir, entre 18.30 et 21.30, pour vous donner un moment de relâche après le travail, les enfants ou les études.

Классы Кукликов по русской кукле в 2014С этого года я организую группу для дневных занятий по Русской Народной Кукле. Ежемесячные занятия проходят по четвергам, с 9.30 до 12.30 (хотя реально дольше) в районе метро Josephine-Charlotte в Брюсселе. Присоединяйтесь!

Norway - Норвегия

Hey ho!
I am still here, and I DO REMEMBER ABOUT YOU!
It's just that my little kid started to walk and I suddenly became luck of time to do anything else than following this intrepid pioneer to make sure he does not fall, swallow washing powder, play with kitchen knife or break TV with his wooden train.
But I do register all the impressions that may be of interest for you and which I will share one day. Still some stuff New-York is waiting to be shared, my new weaving experiments, and Norway.... Oh that beautiful Norway. Two weeks in breathtaking nature full of traditions: this what I have to tell you about.
I start with small tour around ethnographic exposition in Eidsborg in splendid Telemark region. This museum has great outdoor collection of traditional wooden houses. One special is this Eidsborg Stave Church of St Nicholas dated back more than 700 years! These are the details of the church wooden roof: from outside and inside.
Below see few details of a Norwegian traditional costume: notice how much of common there is in Norwegian and Russian costumes.

Запустел мой блог, да травой зарос! Без хозяйки-то....
Все у нас в порядке, все путем. Главная причина моего отсутствия - нехватка времени. Те у кого есть дети, знают что такое ребенок, который начал ходить... Он исследует этот мир... везде... одновременно!
И последние недели меня хватало только на то, чтобы засекать новые впечателения, с которыми я могла бы поделиться и с вами в будущем. А впечатлений много, это я осознала по количеству моих черновых постов. И про Нью-Йорк еще не все расказано, а уже и Норвегия на подходе.
Ну давайте немного про Норвегию. Блог мой, в первую очередь, о традициях. И практически все норвежские впечатления с ними и связаны. Старина - везде, и в деревенском доме наших друзей, и в этнографических музеях и выставках. Ну и с природой, поскольку она там невероятна красива - аж дух захватывает.
Начну с музея по открытым небом в Eidsborg (в красивейшем районе Telemark). Наверху фото знаменитой деревянной церкви Святого Николая. Церковь датируется аж 1300 годом и до сих пор действует. Изначально католическая, после реформы она стала протестантской, но посмотрите как много общего с русскиму северными церквями.
Пара круглых фото показывают детали крыши: снаружи и изнутри.
Да и костюмы очень-очень похожи у норвежцев и русских из северных губерний. Смотрите сами, и обратите внимание на крой рукава (полики, они и в Норвегии полики :)
Прически - другие, да венца с бубенцами в Росии, думается не найдешь. Очень уж он мне приглянулся.

Loukeria for New York - Лукерья для Нью-Йорка
Hello! Привет!
You can find EVERYTHING in New-York. Exceptions were trams and ... my dolls :) But now you can find Loukeria in NY too.
I made this Loukeria with love for my family.
As other Loukeria dolls, she is wearing a complete Russian costume that can be taken off and put back. The fabrics are from my grandma's stock - you will not find texile like this anymore.
To complete the Russian look, I added Russian shoes and a hand-woven belt made on tablets:
... but I could not do anything about trams...

Покажу вам новую Лукерью, которая уехала в Америку к племяннице. Та, кстати, сразу же назвала куклу Машей.... Возможно она и права :)
Лукерья-Маша одета, как всегда, в русский костюм из рубахи и сарафана, пошитых из бабушкиных запасов. Таких тканей уже не делают!
Лапти - связаны. Ну никак руки не дойдут научиться плести настоящие лапти! Кстати, если вы знаете кого-нибудь, кто может научить по Скайпу плести лапти, посоветуйте пожалуйста! Я с радостью в обмен поделюсь своим каким-нибудь мастерством.

Personal workshop: winner - Кто же выиграл мастеркласс?
Hello! Привет!
I am just back from two weeks in the fantastic NYC (this will deserve another story) and my first thing back is to choose who will learn how to make a lovely traditional Russian Doll.
The choice was technically easy as only three papers were cut for the draw :) And the paradoxal extrovert in the Countryside will learn how to make the Guider doll.
Great but... complex choice :) Looks like we are living on opposite sides of the globe! So, lets have real fun during our Skype sessions! I will contact you by email for the arrangements.

Каникулы позади, там же и две недели в Нью-Йорке. Про это будет отдельный рассказ, но надо навести порядок в делах, и объявить кто же выиграл персональный мастер-класс, посвященный году Кукликов.
Удача улыбнулась bcbeaveratheart, и, судя по фото, это - ответная улыбка! :)
Нас ждет, похоже, настоящее организационное приключение - Ведучка (а именно ее мы будем делать) кукла технически сложная, и к тому же мы живем на разных концах света!
